Magnificently embellished with 27 colors and hand-painted 22-karat gold, Tobacco Leaf was the 18th century’s most coveted pattern and still looks bold and brilliant today. A tiny phoenix perches atop the dinner plate’s bouquet of lush leaves and flowers of the Nicotiana plant, while delicate scallops and blooms festoon the rim. Each piece is beautifully handcrafted of white high-fired porcelain and hand glazed by the artisans of Mottahedeh, a company dedicated to reproducing treasured antique patterns since the 1950s. Made in Portugal.
